Each shelf is made using genuine reclaimed European barn wood, so natural variation in colour, grain, texture, knots, cracks and weathering is part of the character of the material.
As shown in the Pick your finish section above, any option marked “Unfinished” is supplied in its natural state with no lacquer applied. All other finishes are protected with our clear acrylic lacquer with a very low 4% sheen, helping to preserve the natural look and tactile feel of the wood while adding protection and durability for everyday use.
As every piece of reclaimed timber is unique, no two shelves will look exactly the same. We recommend ordering samples if you would like to compare colours and finishes before placing your order.
