Brandler London — Five-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee

1. Our Commitment

At Brandler London, we take pride in creating carefully handcrafted products using reclaimed European barn wood.

Our Five-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee reflects our commitment to the quality of our materials, manufacturing and workmanship.

2. What Is Covered?

Our Five-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee applies to qualifying Brandler-manufactured products, including:

• Kitchen fronts and doors.

• Wardrobe fronts.

• Cabinet panels.

• Solid and engineered reclaimed wood shelves.

• Solid and engineered reclaimed wood worktops.

The guarantee covers defects arising from faulty materials supplied by Brandler London or manufacturing workmanship under normal intended use.

This may include defects in product construction, assembly or bonding attributable to manufacturing faults.

3. Guarantee Period

The guarantee lasts for five years from the date of delivery of the qualifying product.

It is provided at no additional charge.

The guarantee applies to qualifying goods supplied to customers in the United Kingdom. Coverage for orders delivered outside the United Kingdom will be confirmed separately.

4. Reclaimed Wood Characteristics & Natural Flatness

Reclaimed barn wood is a naturally variable material, valued for the unique character developed through years of exposure, use and ageing.

Characteristics may include:

• Knots and historic nail holes.

• Weathered textures and patina.

• Natural cracks and surface markings.

• Differences in grain, colour and tone.

• Evidence of previous use.

These characteristics are integral to authentic reclaimed timber and do not, in themselves, constitute manufacturing defects.

Our doors, shelves and worktops are carefully manufactured to achieve stability and a high standard of flatness. However, due to the individual characteristics of genuine reclaimed barn wood, slight variations in flatness may occasionally be present, including minor bowing of a few millimetres.

Such variations are not necessarily considered manufacturing defects, provided the product remains structurally sound, suitable for its intended purpose and functions as intended.

Each product is assessed according to its construction, dimensions and intended use.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights where goods are faulty or do not conform to their description.

5. What Is Not Covered?

The guarantee does not cover damage or problems caused by:

• Accidental damage or misuse.

• Improper installation or unsuitable fixings.

• Excessive moisture, heat or unsuitable environmental conditions.

• Incorrect cleaning or inadequate maintenance.

• Unauthorised alterations or repairs that cause damage.

• Normal wear and tear.

• Natural ageing, colour changes or patina development.

• Inappropriate storage or use outside a product's intended purpose.

These exclusions apply where the relevant circumstances have caused or contributed to the problem.

6. Installation and Aftercare

Products should be installed using appropriate fixings and structural support and maintained in accordance with Brandler London's guidance.

Timber should be protected from excessive moisture, standing water and prolonged exposure to direct heat.

7. Making a Claim

If you believe your product has developed a manufacturing defect during the guarantee period, please contact info@brandler.london.

Please provide:

• Your name and order number or proof of purchase.

• A description of the issue.

• Photographs of the affected product.

• The approximate date the issue became apparent.

• Relevant information regarding installation or use, where requested.

We will review the information and may request further details or arrange an inspection where reasonably necessary.

8. How We Resolve Warranty Claims

Where a claim is accepted, Brandler London will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

• Repairing the affected product.

• Replacing the defective component or product.

• Another suitable resolution where repair or replacement is impracticable.

Qualifying remedies under the guarantee will be provided without charge, including reasonable associated costs necessary to carry them out.

Because reclaimed wood is naturally unique, replacement materials may vary in grain, colour or surface texture.

We will make reasonable efforts to achieve a suitable visual match.

9. Third-Party Components

Certain accessories, hardware and components may carry separate manufacturer warranties.

Where applicable, details of these warranties may be provided.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights against Brandler London as the seller.

10. Your Statutory Rights

This Five-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable legislation.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts those statutory rights.
